Yesterday it was my grannys birthday party.Her birthday is next week.Granny only thought the family was coming but a lot of her friends came too.All our cousins came.We went down to the green and played football.Faye and Megan came to my house because their parents were at my house.My dad put loads of bottles of beer in a big black bin then he put water in the bin.Me and my dad went to tesco and bought eight bags of ice.I carried four and my dad carried four.we put the ice in the big black bin.Then we had to put our hand down(and our arm)into the icecold water and take out some of the beer and put it into a little silver tub for peaople to take.We put some ice into the silver tub to keep them cold.When all the cousins and family we gave granny our present.My Mom and dad organised a photo album from apple.While my Granny was looking through it she started crying.I havent seen my granny cry before.At about four grannys friends started coming.We ordered dominos pizza for lunch.
The party went on for nearly twelve hours.micheal(my guitar teacher and megans dad)came down He played my guitar for about two hours.My mom lit a fire and we all sat around the fire and sang songs.I went to bed at about half two.
Hey Mia. I was surprised to see that you never saw me cry before 'cos I cry a lot. i cry when I'm sad, happy, hear music that I really really like or of course when i hurt myself. Anyway, I had a great birthday and the best part (apart from the lovely pressies) was the way my darling grandchildren enjoyed themselves. I loved it when we were sitting around the chimenea, with Micheal playing his guitar and you kids joining in the singing. Magic! I'm looking forward already to my 80th birthday - only five years to go. Lots of love, Granny
ReplyDeleteHey Mia.... it was just great craic wasnt it. Lots of people, lots of nice food, some Sangria, lots of sunshine and then singing into the night! Wonderful.. I hope you dont forget it... cos some day maybe you will throw me a 75th party????
